Shortly after the (what proved to be premature) announcement of my new book, ‘The 4 Step Business Plan’, via LinkedIn, I experienced a slight hitch!
Having approved the proof, I had been patiently awaiting the first batch of my book from the print / publisher. After receiving no response to my chaser emails and phone messages, (and noting with some alarm that my contact at said print / publishing company had suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from LinkedIn), I decided to have a quick search at Companies House.
Oh dear, company ‘Dissolved via a compulsory strike-off’. Frustrating, (and not a little perplexing, considering the ‘Notice for compulsory strike-off’ had been submitted around the same time that I had agreed and paid for the service).
Hey-ho, business is one long learning curve. And there is always a way forward. In this case, a route suggested by a contact who made me aware of Amazon KDP. So, albeit later than planned, I’m now a very proud owner of a final copy of the book, (and, if you are looking for an easy to read, ‘top tips’ style overview of effective business planning, you can be too! Just search Amazon for ‘The 4 Step Business Plan‘).
